One of the many benefits of mindfulness and meditation, and one of the most important, is in the expansion of the space we create in responding to a situation, allowing us to “respond” rather than “react” to it. We learn that with our breath, we have the ability to “unhook” from the chaos in our minds, the chaos causing stress, anxiety and overwhelm. When we feel anxious, or stressed, or overwhelmed, we are being hijacked by the thoughts racing through our minds. With a practice of mindfulness, we learn how to detach from those thoughts, which are often immobilizing, and create more peace, calm and productivity.
In this 30 day Meditation Program, I will offer guided meditations that you can use for your practice, along with daily text messages to help keep you on track! You will be added to a group text where we can support one another in our meditation practices.
Whether new to meditation or would like to deepen your practice, all are welcome!
